Sounds like a jet plane taking off!

We bought the set of washer and dryer and had it installed on 10-25-18. First time it was turned on it sounds like a jet taking off. Our vendor essentially told us it was our problem. They called Maytag who called a technician and they won't come to our house until 10-12-18. So at this time I give it a zero!!!

WORST DRYER EVER!

I bought this dryer in 11/2016, I have never been able to use the dryer on sense dry bc they're still half way dry. I always have to put on the max time dry allows, the last month or so I'm having to dry them for 4 hours bc they are still wet, and from it taking so long to heat up they're staying all compressed together and wrinkled! So frustrating! Repair company came out changed thermostat and heat element and honestly it hasn't made much of a difference he said after he checked it at the beginning it wasn't even reaching the right temperature and my element was shot! I'm thinking that was a lie because they're is nothing different except for getting a little hotter. He came back out to check and said it seemed to have been working properly all he can see is the control board which has been a pain in the but since we've got it. sometimes having to press down multiple times on the start button! I am noticing it actually looks like the dryer drum is not spinning as fast as it use to and that is why I think it is keeping the clothes compressed and wrinkled. But I should not have to be drying clothes that long!

Easy To Scratch Finish

Loads take longer to dry especially heavy loads. The first day we had it installed the top was scratched just by putting the detergent on it. That was very disappointing as I like things to look nice as long as possible.

I bought this dryer less than 2 weeks ago. Twice now it has just stopped working in the middle of drying a load. The first time, I called an electrician out to be sure it wasn't something with the connection. Everything checked out fine and then the dryer started working again. The electrician was as baffled as my husband and I were but I was just happy it was working. Now, less than a week later it's not working again. Very frustrating to say the least.

We do less loads now, this dryer is big. The cloths come dried right and with no wrinkles, thanks to it settings. Looks cool too, not just old white . The prof will be in how long it last, other lasted 12 yrs.

Bought this (with the matching washer) when building my new house. I moved in 4 mos. ago and have used them both a lot washing things that had been in storage for 9 months. I love that I can now wash blankets & coverlets at home. The feature I was unsure I needed was the steam, but it saved me a lot of $ by using it to get creases out of cashmere sweaters that had been folded for so long. Also wonderful for handling dog hair on clothes!

Didn't operate when we got it home

The machine wouldn't start. Called dealer. Was told to call service. They said Maytag sent their techs. Called Maytag and they gave me another service company. He tested and ordered two parts. The problem was door connections were not connected. Bottom line we had the dryer nearly two weeks before we could use it. We expect it to be a good machine now.
