Bought this to replace a 28 year old stove that worked well enough but did not go with our upgraded kitchen. What a difference in both temperature control and oven capacity. It heats to boiling in half the time as the one it replaced and the convection feature is really nice to give cookies and bread a nice even Browning. If I had only one complaint is the glass top seems to scratch much easier than the old one. Either that, or the last one I had had so many I just didn't notice.

Love the look and the features, but heats entire kitchen when oven is being used. Control knobs are warm/hot to touch and oven door is hot to touch. Would be concerned if I had young children living with me. Will not be able to use in hot summer months, but I suppose will be great in winter for heating the house. We called the place we purchased this stove and have asked for a repairman to come and look at the stove. That hasn't happened yet! The burners and oven r slow to heat up. The convection feature does not circulate the air well. Some items get more done than others! The oven thermometer seems off. My cooking time is longer than with other ovens! I have had maytag in the past and was satisfied. Not satisfied this time!

Coming off a stove from 1959 this oven is wonderful. I forgot how nice it was to have the heat and time work properly! Nice roomy oven too. Only complaint is glow light on burners good balck after turning off instead of leaving a faint red until they cool. I am so happy with my new oven!

I love the warmer burner. Its great when something is done first and u can keep it hot until the rest of the food is done!
