Totally exceeding our expectations. Well designed and a warranty that beats the competition. Our last NON-MAYTAG chest freezer lasted less than a year and according to on-line chatter that is common. Stick with Maytag dependability all the way!!

So much bigger than our old one. Tons of room. Reached target temperature very quickly. Does not cover opening on the back. A little worried about dust in the garage.

I have had this about a month. Not long enough to see if it helps the electric bill... It is noisy so I am glad it isn't in my main home area. It seems to freeze well and is big enough for my large family!

It could use more baskets for storing food, I looked up parts and they are over 50$ a piece that's absolutely ridiculous. I'll be using a cardboard box in my new freezer.

The seal deteriorated on our old freezer that we had since 1981. This new freezer is a good replacement. My only complaint is I wish they made one bigger than 22 cubic foot. Our old one was 26 cubic foot. The baskets that are included are nice.

After reading the other reviews, there is not much to add. The freezer is very spacious (enough for a whole cow from meat locker) and would buy it again should I ever need one
