Purchased this washer in January of 2014 because movers damaged our old machine...in my adult life, I have owned a Maytag washer that belonged to my Grandmother and came into my care when it was nearly 20 years old; I used it for another 4 years. I have also owned a Frigidaire washer that was still going strong at 12 years old when we opted for a new matching pair. This Whirlpool washer ran as it should for 2 years and 6 months until it will no longer drain & spin clothes unless we manually force it to do so; and even then, it might take any where from 2 to 5 times before it does the work.

This appliance is one of the best dryers that I have had since we have been married for 40 years. It take very little time to dry our cloths and the cost to run the dryer is low and keeping my electric bill reasonable. I would recommend this brand to anyone that is looking for a great buy and great appliance.

When I put wet clothing into the dryer, close the door, and select the amount of time required to accomplish the drying, I then close the door, press the start button, and voila! It starts to tumble the wet clothing while blowing hot air onto it. Eventually, the wet clothing becomes dry. Thus, the product is accurately called a 'dryer'.

Great dryer and extremely affordable. Dries clothes fast and rarely use any setting above "Low". Used to wait for dryer to finish before moving ti next load, but now the dryer is waiting for the washer to finish! Would never by a "fancy" dryer after seeing how great this works!

I bought this dryer almost a year ago and am very pleased with it. I wanted a no frills, easy to use dryer and this one has worked beautifully for me. Love it. The only change I would make would be to have lint catcher on front door instead of on top of dryer.

With normal use a large chunk of paint about 3 inches diameter has come off from the inside. The rest of the paint is starting to peel off. Whirlpool calls this cosmetic?

We looked at a lot of dryers, many with more bells & whistles than we were accustomed to or wanted. This dryer fit our bill and our wallet. It is a large capacity dryer with essentially two drying modes. The one my wife uses is timed drying which is based on setting the number of minutes. My choice is the automatic dry which allows me to set how dry I want the load to be. This mode will also go through extra cycles if I don't hear the buzzer the first time which keeps my permanent press item wrinkle-free. Of course there is a temperature selection that ranges from extra low to high. The wife likes high and I like low. We're both happy.

I only bought this dryer 2 weeks ago so I can't give it 5 stars as of yet. I really like the large size for blankets and large comforters. I do miss the light my other dryer had but I can manage without it. This dryer replaced another Whirlpool Dryer that I had for 10+ years so I can say I like and really trust the Whirlpool brand.

This dryer is very nice. I really like the auto dry. When it's done and if you don't remove the clothing, it will tumble every once in a while to keep the clothing wrinkle free.It has more room in it, which results in faster drying.

I replaced my high-end expensive dryer with my Whirlpool after finding out the repair on the electronic control board would cost more than my new Whirlpool. This new dryer has a huge capacity and dries much faster than the one I replaces. Very happy with it and will never go back to a "fancy" high tech appliance.

we love the fact that the opening and barrel to this machine are big and it is very efficient and dries in a timely manor we also love the energy efficient part of this dryer i have not had this before and if you do not get to your clothes in time you have the wrinkle shield which helps when you have scrubs and they wrinkle all the time.

I have had several Whirlpool appliances over the years. The dryer I purchased some months ago has been an excellent purchase for me. It is easy to operate and really saves me time with the wrinkle resistant cycle. Keeps me from having to do so much ironing which is not my favorite thing to do. In fact I have hardly had to do any with this option to use...even if I don't get them out immediately. Really pleased with this dryer and definitely would recommend it to anyone.
