I am now retired. I had a tenant that just moved out. She was there for 33 years. So I remodeled the kitchen, including new appliances. I picked out Whirlpool appliances, as if I were buying for my own home. As with tenants, I need reliability. Whirlpool gives me that peace of mind.

I bought this range on July 3,2019 and not real impressed with it. I called to let whirlpool because the oven wasn't baking at the right temp. I was told that i might need to adjust the temp. and if they came out and thats all that needed done they would charge me. Wouldn't you think a brand new range would be ready to use not me having to make it work at the right temp. I will not buy another whirlpool anything!!!!!!

First thing I did was turn everything on high to burn anything residual that might still be on the elements. Then I went to Walmart and bought the cleaner that you're supposed to use on a glass top stove then put a couple coats on to protect the glass. Unlike some people I don't use abrasive type cleaners and then wonder why it's all scratched up and blame the manufacturer. So far it's been working fine but you do have to watch the setting when you're cooking so you don't burn your food. Even at lower settings it will cook just fine. The other thing I did was to buy a new set of pots to use instead of the ones I had with all that carbonized burnt stuff on the bottom.

I wish I would have spent more on a slightly more feature-rich oven, but I needed it ASAP and the other ones I wanted weren't available as soon. This replaced an older version of the same model and I find it takes longer to heat the oven and it doesn't heat as evenly or quickly. I also don't like the glaring blue display as the rest of my appliances have a soft green glow.

I purchased this range a little while back and noticed after the first few months a strange distortion was developing under one of the burners....it was clearly not scratched on the outside but under the glass has what looked like what can only be described as scratches. None of the other burners has this so I called C/S thinking this was simply a manufacturing defect and they told me since something must have boiled over and caused that and not covered under any warranty and nothing would be done about it. I find it hard to believe that even if that did happen (which it never really did) would cause something under the glass to this one burner and not the others. Very disappointed in the product, the customer service, and the overall experience. Obviously never buying a Whirlpool product again.
