Very Slow to Heat

This was installed by the builder, as I did not get to select this particular range. To this day (3 years after close) the oven omits a chemical smell when in use. To the point where my poor pup wheezes. I've scrubbed it many times, using vinegar and baking soda, and it's still there 3 years later. Customer Service was no help.
Oven and stovetop take exceptionally long to heat up. I've had better performing electric ranges in the past.

Good sized oven and storage drawer. I compared with the larger oven and smaller storage drawer option but this fitted my needs. I love that there are lots of ring size options one of which is for warming. Two issues, the drawer is made of very thin SS and is sharp, the SS front shows every fingerprint and even with SS cleaner it is not easy to remove these.

Had this for about a week and still getting used to cooking on glass/ceramic. Oven

All in all this range is fantastic! The only thing I'd keep that fifth star for is the drawer on bottom is not easy to open, like it could glide easier.

This stove came with my house, not handpicked by me. I love the way it cooks. I do have a problem with viewing the oven settings. While the writing is white, it is hard to read without a great deal of light. I wish there was some backlight. It cleans up beautifully, the oven works fine, although there was a slight odor when I used the convection option. I would recommend this appliance to friends with the caution about seeing the information on the oven.

Didn't need a new range, just changed the kitchen to all stainless. But this unit won me over with it's no-nonsense controls and simple features. I would highly recommend this regardless of your reason for purchasing.

I just bought this November 10 and used it for first time about November 15. I love it. Not only is it sleek, attractive and neat lines, but the cookies I baked for a special occasion were perfect. I cooked today for the first time a hugh Thanksgiving dinner, and the oven and top burners had consistent, even heat, and lived up to all they claim. The two front burners are large and easy to work with because they are located in the front. The service was excellent. I called the appliance store I have been doing business with for over 25 years; bought many appliances there;, moved twice, leaving new appliances in house I sold; got new appliances again; sent many referrals to them, because I am in the real estate business, and when I called them about ranges, they told me "just come in we have a lot of models to choose from". The day before we had buried my daughter-in law, after being in Fort Worth for two weeks; having a sciatic nerve problem in my right side, I did not want to run all over town shopping. I knew exactly what I wanted, searched features on the internet, and wanted to buy locally. I had a few questions, and the salesperson at my previous appliance store did not have time for me on the phone. My son-in-law reminded me about a home-family owned locale store that sold Whirlpool Appliances, and I said, of course, I have been knowing that family all my life. I called them, and the son took time with me on the phone; answered my concerns about the Whirlpool convection-thermal oven, etc; called me right back with answers to my questions after he researched it, and I went in and purchased the whirlpool from him. I will be purchasing my Whirlpool dishwasher from him after the first of the year; and then a new television. Whirlpool is the best, for performance, looks and service.

Everything seems to work fine on this model, but the oven seems to take a long time to heat up compared to my previous one. Also, there is not an indicator "on" light for the oven, just the temperature readout, which is also the clock, so not as easy to eyeball that the oven has been left on. I really miss the indicator light for the oven being on. I don't like the timer at all. I would much rather have a dial, like on my previous stove, to set the amount of time rather than having to digital up and down everytime - very time consuming - the dials were more efficient. All in all, I hope to get used to this stove but it seems to have been engineered by someone that doesn't use a stove very often. Also, the drawer is small and items can slide out the back under the oven. The back of the drawer should contain what is kept in the drawer.

We bought this range early this year Feb 2017 and in Oct 2017 we had a small fire which messed it up and had to trash it. We looked at other ranges but for us, this was the best one for our needs. My wife especially likes the warmer!! No complaints at all and love it.

I love the convection baking, steam cleaning, and warming plate. Those extra features put this model above the other stoves I was. Considering. There are two things That I would improve in the model. First, it's very hard to see the markers on the dials. Those need to be more prominent. And the oven takes a long time to preheat.

Got this 2 1/2 months ago. Self cleaning (steam) oven is horrible! Only the bottom of oven gets clean. Burner controls are very poorly designed, sometimes HIGH is on the top, sometimes on the bottom depending on single or dual burner. Difficilt to keep glass top lookong nice. I have had 3 previous glass cooktops with no problem. Oven Drawer flimsy. Wish I could return it

I bought this to replace my stove after the flood of 2016. I didn't really know much about it except for the ceramic top. I cook at least 2 meals a day if not three. I love all of the features. You can cook with different sized pots and the burners can be adjusted to your pot size, there is a warming burner and the oven is very large. I would definitely recommend this item and I would buy it again. Its features have spoiled me.

I was surprised at the cheap quality of the oven racks compared to my old stove. Also the housing of the unit is much poorer quality than my old unit. I guess they are cutting corners. I don't like that. Definitely not the same quality

This came with our new home so haven't had a lot of use on it so far but I don't like the glass top hard to keep clean of spills. Also don't like the cycling of the heat on the burners. The draw is very flimsy. What I do like is the warmer and the oven does a great job.

We purchased this range along with a new Whirlpool refrigerator in May. Love the look of the pair and the range is very attractive. The top burners work very fast to heat and cook items. We do find that the oven takes way too long to heat up to desired temperatures. Once it does, it cooks things nicely. Not sure if the slowness is related to it being also a convection oven since this is the first time we've owned one like it. Still a good buy for the money and very nice overall.
