Love the big oven!

We have a small kitchen, but I wanted the biggest oven I could get for the space. This one is perfect. If there is anything I'm concerned about, that it's difficult to clean the top if something gets burned on there. I need to find a special cleaner I guess. I was really hoping for one with the controls in front, a DEA compliant, but they are way expensive.

Favorite part: no exposed lower element in the oven! When pizza cheese drips over, it just hits the bottom of the oven and is easy to clean up with a rag, with the steam clean option OR the with the self clean option.

Adjusting to new range

Overall this range meets my needs however, I am upset that none of the ranges that I looked at have the dials on the side. I do not like reaching over my cooking to adjust the temperatures. Also, the dials are hard to read for which burner. Why not say front and back.

I bought the stove about a month ago and am very happy with it. i'm impressed how many features it has that promote safety alone. One oddity: the markers on the dials which regulate the amount of heat each burner is set to are surprising faint in color. They'd be almost impossible to see for some one with even slightly impaired vision. Why aren't they at least mid-tone if not dark?

I got this oven because it was one of the only ones with a medium sized burner in the front. The double burner seemed interesting, however when using the smaller circle burner it still has a thin circle around the bigger circle that heats up - so you have to be careful not to touch it. Also it is hard to get used to only using half a circle for the temperature control. The difference between medium and high is almost too small to decipher.

It's an OK range. It takes too long for the burners to get hot and the oven to warm up. The bottom drawer is very flimsy and falls off its track every time it is opened. I love Whirlpool but this range is a bit of a let down.

Great flat top

Bought this a week before Thanksgiving because we didn't trust the range that was in our place when we closed and we had a houseful coming. LOVE IT!!!!!! First foray into convection, took a little getting used to, but our grandsons oatmeal cookies came out perfect. VERY easy to clean the cooktop, everything just wipes up, so far seems scratch resistance.

Replaced a Whirlpool from 2001, drawer at bottom of stove is a big disappointment, 3 inches shorter in length 1 1/2 in depth and made of inferior piece of metal. My old one even had a liner inside. It seems to take longer for the oven to get to the degree needed. ,
