They (Whirlpool) don't tell you the stainless steel around the oven door opening is a separate peace that is double stick taped on to the face of the door, so when it came to us it was already pulled off on one side and we didn't notice it when the delivery men brought it in ,they must have pulled on it when they were taking it out of the wrapping it came in. CHEAP!!! Make sure when your looking to buy to check and see if the stainless is wrap all the way around the door sides and not just taped on the front with a 1/8 " around the sides....try pulling on it and make sure it's a strong peace of stainless steel and not thin and flimsy. CHEAP! CHEAP! CHEAP! $800.00 dollars you would think it would be made better....... we bought a whirlpool refrigerator also it worked exactly 7 days just our luck...they just don't make them like they us to

Wonderful Gas Stove!

We've had our new range a couple months now. Overall we like it very much. The burners heat up food quickly. The black range surface is hard to keep clean, it shows everything, it's not the product, but the color. The oven took some getting used to, directions to use it seemed vague. The temperature seems a little low for the setting, but we were used to an old oven that was a hot oven. We like it, looks and operates great.

We chose to upgrade from a standard electric range/oven to this natural gas powered one, and we are thrilled we did! I've always been a fan of gas cooking, but for the last 20 years I've been forced to live with electric. Boy is it nice to be back to gas! Love the cooking so far. The range is easy to use and cooks well. The oven heats quickly and evenly and thus far all of our meals have been cooked to perfection with little variance in cook time.

The gas range is very attractive, yet underneath it's beauty is an average gas range. Whenever the gas range gets cleaned the burners have to be adjusted for it to work again. The oven works well but the convection part doesn't appear to work the way some others I have used. It's not nearly as fast or efficient.

Haven't had the stove for long. It looks very nice. The oven heated up quickly and was easy to use. The grates are heavy, but stay in place. The grates are rough in texture which is good because pots and pans don't slide around. The storage drawer feels cheaply made and doesn't slide in and out smoothly. Comes off track easy; very light weight.

They are 'turbo-charged' and have to be adjusted down for even my largest pans. Stove top is awkward to clean, and cannot be scrubbed with an SOS pad. Hmmmm. Other than the cleaning issue, I love it. Be sure when you set the timer, that you hit 'Start'!! Missed that one time and almost burned food.

POOR QUALITY.. HAVE HAD LESS THAN A MONTH.. SERVICE CALL FOR CONVECTION FAN NOT WORKING.. BURNER CAPS HAVE FLAKED.. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE...

Gas Range with Convection Cooking

A big upgrade for me

I've had the range for a few weeks and I'm fairly happy with it. I was using a rather ancient one so this was quite an upgrade. The stovetop burners really pump out the heat. But I find the oven controls somewhat confusing -- I can't figure out how to shut it off (or if I'd correctly shut it off) when something bakes more quickly than I expected, and extending the bake time by setting up a new bake program seems overly complicated. This might be due to either a design weakness or inadequate instructions.

beautiful design, even cooking

I love love love the new oven! the even cooking, the fast boiling and quiet timer, plus the ease in clean-up, make this a perfect replacement (and improvement!) over our 15-years plus old oven. and the price is VERY good, when you compare quality/performance to the other models. this one is a bargain.

nice design

I just got this about a month ago. It is very stylish and I appreciate the different size burners. I also like the high grate, it's like one large grate across the top. I have to get used to the bake vs convection though so far so good.
