poor Ice Maker

I Bought this Refrigerator in the fall of 2016. Since then I Have had to get the Ice Maker worked on 3 times and a air exchange motor replaced. all within warranty now the warranty is out and still having Ice maker Problems stuff is not made to last

Loved this refrigerator but I had to leave it behind when I sold my house. I want to buy another one but see now that it is discontinued. Very disappointed that I may not be able to get another one.

We bought this fridge in November and the Ice-maker already stopped working. We were able to have it replaced for free since it was still covered by warranty, but this is not a good sign.

I bought this fridge a month ago, and while I can't judge it's longevity yet, so far I'm nothing but pleased with the purchase. I had a long list of what I wanted, but not necessarily needed in a fridge, and this one fit the bill. I wanted it to fit a 36" space exactly (but still have a large capacity), be a side by side, have glass shelves in the freezer with an ice maker in the door, and have led lighting. I wasn't sold on having a ice and water dispenser, but gave it a try. I'm so glad I did! The water line was really easy to hook up, and the entire display and all the functions seem like a top notch operation, not a cheap addition. The lock mechanism on the dispenser is a great thing to have with little ones in the house. It's already saved me a few spills. From the major functions to the small finishes, this Whirlpool refrigerator definitely has a high end feel for its price range. Judging by this refrigerator, I'll definitely be shopping Whirlpool in the future!

So hard to find a side by side with a double paddle for ice and water, but I found it!The perfect updated replacement for the same I purchased 12 years ago.Love the smaller ice cubes. They can fit into the mouth of a water bottle :)

We received our new Side-by-Side and it has such a "crisp" and bright interiors. It's is deeper than our last side by side and we just simply can't say enough good things. It is roomy and bright. Clean and Crisp. We love that the ice maker is on the freezer door which gives us more freezer room.

Refrigerator has great lighting and looks good but there are a few problems. First of all, there is a strange taste to the water coming out of the door. You have to run about 2 glasses and pour out before the "plastic" taste is gone. Secondly, the door does not shut automatically. You have to give it a pretty good level of force to shut or it will reach a certain point and remain open. Lastly, there are limited adjustments that can be done on inside shelving.
