Love this freezer! It has two baskets that are deep. Much more room in these than the ones that were in the freezer we replaced. Also, love that it has a temperature alarm. So far, very happy with this freezer and would recommend it.

So far, so good. I have a suggestion that when the alarm sounds it should send a message to my phone because my freezer is out of earshot. Also, the baskets are nice but I have added milk crates under the baskets to help sort what is in the freezer and make it easier to move stuff in case of freezer or power failure. Also I looked, but never found a self defrosting freezer.

We bought this to replace a slightly smaller freezer that no longer worked. It has been a good replacement option. The 2 baskets help with organization. I looked for a freezer that had an alarm and temperature read out, but could not find a smaller size one with those features that I find really helpful and reassuring.

Bought my freezer, and had it delivered to my house three weeks ago. I have owned both a larger and a smaller freezer in the past, and find this to be just the right size. The delivery men were very attentive to my requests. The freezer is working great so far. I was surprised to see that many freezers do not have an indicator light that allows you to know the freezer is on & working. This freezer does have an on indicator light, & also an audible alarm to let you know it is not working properly, possibly saving you from losing a freezer full of meat etc. I am very pleased with my purchase, & highly recommend this product.

So far so good. Freezer looks good. Took about a month for delivery due to being out of stock. There is a small rattling noise that we haven't figured out what it is yet when the condenser turns on. Over happy with product.

We needed a freezer because our garden put out a huge bounty and we had no more room in our side by side. After much research and comparison, we chose this Whirlpool. So happy we did. This freezer is a great size, big but not too big! It also has great features that I didn't find in other freezers of it's size/price range, like the always on green light indicator & the ability to lock. Seems great, dose make a slight buzz noise when running, but my husband is going to try level it & see if that remedies the noise.

I had to replace a similar freezer that broke down with3/4 of my home made soups and assorted frozen garden vegetables in it. I was not aware that it wasn't working well. Everything melted and spoiled. I had to throw out all my hard work and saving stuff I raised. This new freezer has a warning signal to let me know if the temperature is above freezing.Good feature!!

I have had my freezer since the summer of 1993, and still has it up present date, 04/17/2016. After having repaired it once, which might have been the later year of the 1990s, I have since not done any repair with it. I will surely buy another Whirlpool freezer in the event that this one no longer functions as I have been very pleased.The size seems alright since it is roomy to take in lots of items and even for a family that is large.

Ths works great. I have a Kil-a-watt meter hooked up to it and it is costing less than advertised - about $32 per year instead of $35-$36 per year. the only noticeable thing is a little sound like a squirrel in a cage-wheel running the whole thing when the compressor is on. Old freezer has worked fine for 42 years, but was costing $170 per year to run.

Tons of room with 2 sliding drawers for smaller things. They can be removed if you don't need them. Runs so quite you can not hear it running.
